Lift engine and transmission clear of the bay
Remove all engine and transmission with crane and jack
Support engine and transmission with crane and jack
Disconnect driveshaft from transmission or differential
Remove and cap fuel lines; remove fuel tank
Disconnect and label all wiring harnesses connected to engine.
Remove air intake, exhaust manifold and downpipe.
Disconnect negative battery terminal first, then positive.
Drain all fluids: engine oil, coolant, fuel tank.
